EARLY BIRD DISCOUNTS:

Re-registration fee paid on or before the due date:

  • If the re-registration fee for AY 2024-25 is paid on or before 30th April 2024, a 2% discount will be applied to the Term-1 fee, provided that the payment is made on or before 15th August 2024

Existing students’ full School Fee payment discount

  • If whole year School Fee is paid on or before 15th August 2024 and re-registration fee is paid on or before 30th April 2024, the full payment discount is 7% of total School Fees.
  • If whole year School Fee is paid on or before 15th August, however re-registration fee is paid after 30th April 2024 or have not paid the re-registration fee, the full payment discount is 5% of total School Fees.

New admission full payment discount:

  • If whole year School Fee is paid on or before 15th August, the full payment discount is 7% of total School Fees.

Discount Policy Terms & Conditions:

  1. Postdated cheques are not considered paid School Fees until cheque is cleared in the bank.
  2. The parents can avail a combination of all discounts offered by the school (family discount, early bird, and full payment), however the maximum discount that can be availed per student is capped at 10% discount.
  3. DIS reserves the right to withdraw/change terms and conditions of all discounts & referral schemes.

 

MISCELLANEOUS

 

  • Personal Enrichment Programme (PEP) - The Personal Enrichment Programme is our Co-Curricular Activities provision which is charged separately if organized by an External Provider. Parents are provided with information about Co-Curricular Activities once the school re opens in September. (Subject to change as per Regulator guidelines).
     
  • External Examinations - As per the ADEK guidelines, the school must do a Mandatory International Assessment and the fees for these exams will be charged to the year groups, if applicable. The parents will be informed about payment of fees as per the instructions received from the exam boards. Below is a list of some of the Mandatory International Assessments:
    CAT4 (Cognitive Ability Test) Targeted year groups

    ACER IBT – Arabic Targeted year groups
  • The fees for above mentioned exams fees will be charged to the year groups it is applicable. The parents will be informed about payment of fees as per the instructions received from the exam boards.
     
  • Board Examination - Every year a Board Examination fee will be charged to the students in Year 11, 12 & 13 who appear for the selected boards of the exams based on their selection of subjects. These fees will be on a cost recovery basis and need to be paid in the month of January. The school will raise an invoice for each student which will be available on the parent portal for easy access and payment.
     
  • Transport - • We have outsourced the school transport to an external provider. You can register your child/children for transport requirements. The contact details are given below for ease of reference. (Subject to change as per Regulator guidelines) http://www.brightbustransport.com/DIS.html
  • Uniform - We have an authorized uniform provider. You can purchase uniforms either from their shop or by ordering online. www.shopatsumeru.com  (Subject to change as per Regulator guidelines)
     
  • Books - The Curriculum Textbooks and the Notebooks will be issued by the respective Class Teacher normally within the first week of school. There are no separate book fees charged for these books.
     
  • Re-Registration - Every year a Re-Registration Fee of approximately 5% of the school fee is charged in the month of April from students who want to continue into the next Academic Year. Re-Registration is compulsory to guarantee a place. The Re-Registration Fee paid is adjustable against the First Term Fees but is not refundable in case the enrollment is withdrawn. The last date for payment of the Re-Registration Fees will be communicated to all parents.
     
  • New Admission - A registration fee of 5% is payable on acceptance of your application. This fee is adjusted against the First Term Fees but not refundable in case the enrollment is withdrawn.


REFUND POLICY

 

In case of any withdrawal of admission, refunds are calculated based on ADEK guidelines.



NON-PAYMENT OF FEES

 

When fees are not paid, the school reserves the right to:

  • Suspend students from learning for a maximum of 3 days per term, excluding exam days.
  • Not re-enroll students for the following academic year. This will be documented by the school through the issuance of dated warning letters.
  • Withhold students’ progress reports and refer the issue to the ADEK.
  • Withhold the Transfer Certificate.


OPTIONS TO PAY

 

The parents who do not have credit card or debit card are requested to submit Post Dated Cheque (PDC )(as per the due dates mentioned in the fee table) for the Term 2 & Term 3 along with Fee payment for Term 1.

  • Diyafah Parent Portal -Online Payment 24/7: -Credit/Debit Card - Parents can pay using credit/debit cards through Parent portal – go to Fees & Services tab
  • Bank to Bank transfer from your bank to ADCB.
  • Cash deposit @ADCB ATM1 or at the fee fee counter
  • Cheque - CURRENT DATED CHEQUE, deposited into ADCB Bank account1 (or) at the school fee counter2
  • School bank account details are available on parent portal under Fee & Invoices

1 Please email a scanned copy of the remittance advise or cheque deposit slip along with Student GR number to ebilling@diyafahinternationalschool.com to enable us to track your payment.
2 Cheques are subject to realization; Bank charges apply for the cheques dishonoured for any reason. 

Notes:

  1. After payments are made, allow for a minimum of ONE working Day for reconciliation
  2. Save and whitelist school email address and ensure your contact details in the ERP are updated.
  3. Regular delay in payment of fees will lead to temporary suspension, withheld Term report & non-re-registration of your child for the next academic year.

CHEQUE RETURN/REPLACE & WITHDRAWAL PROCESS (T&C APPLY)

 

A minimum of 7 days notice period required via email toebilling@diyafahinternationalschool.com

RETURNED CHEQUE BY THE BANK

In the event of a Cheque being returned by the bank for ANY REASON, AED 250/- will be charged and the payment will be accepted either by Credit/Debit Card for a returned Cheque. The school will not accept responsibility for any returned Cheques.

WITHDRAWAL OF CHEQUE

  • In the event that a parent needs to replace or withdraw the PDC for any reason, the parent must send an email giving a minimum of 7 working days’ notice period to ebilling@diyafahinternationalschool.com to hold the Cheque and must replace the Cheque within the required timeline.
