Applications Invited for The Winnie D’cunha Scholarship Academic Year 2026–2027
Diyafah International School LLC, in line with our continued commitment to fostering academic excellence, is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the Winnie D’Cunha Scholarship for the Academic Year 2026–2027. This scholarship was first introduced in the Academic Year 2022–2023 to recognize and support outstanding student achievement.
Applications are now invited from students currently enrolled in Years 9, 10, 11, and 12 during the Academic Year 2025–2026.
Selected students from each year group will be awarded a scholarship of up to 50% of one year’s tuition fees.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must meet one or more of the following criteria:
- Exceptional academic performance, demonstrated despite personal, physical, medical, financial, or other challenges
- Active participation in community service and/or extracurricular activities & inter school sporting teams
- Identified Gifted & Talented or STEM students (subject to verification by SLT)
- No behavioural concerns on record (to be verified by SLT & MMT)
- Documented financial hardship, such as loss of employment or business disruption (supporting documents may be requested)
- Minimum 94% attendance, supported by the official attendance report
Application Procedure:
Students wishing to apply for the scholarship must complete the application form linked below. Application Deadline: 10th June 2026. The scholarship is valid for the Academic Year 2026–2027 only.

Applications are Invited for the Winnie D’cunha Scholarship for Emirati Girls
Diyafah International School LLC, as part of our ongoing commitment to promoting academic excellence for Emirati Girls had introduced the Winnie D’Cunha Scholarship from Academic Year 2018-19. We invite Emirati parents whose daughters are currently in Diyafah International School LLC to apply for the Scholarship. The Scholarship applies only to girls who will be in Year 5, 6 and 7 in 2026-27. The two best applicants will be awarded the Scholarship, which will be a rebate up to 50% of one year’s tuition fees.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Excellent academic performance, despite challenges (Physical/Medical/Financial/Personal)
- Excellent record of behaviour
- Close involvement in extra- curricular activities
- Excellent punctuality and attendance record
Application Procedure:
Students who wish to avail of the Scholarship should apply by completing the Application Form by accessing the link below, including a personal statement explaining why she should receive the award in no more than 150 words. The deadline for Application for Scholarship is 10th June 2026.
The Scholarship is valid for one year only.
The percentage of rebate given to individual students will be entirely the decision of the Scholarship Committee and it does not guarantee a grant to all applicants.

To streamline the Application Process please complete all sections of the Application Form fully and include the following documentation:
- Copies of your Academic Qualifications for the last two years
- Proof of your involvement in extra-curricular activities /community service/any other achievements in the last two years.
