ADMISSIONS PROCESS

Diyafah International School is delighted to announce that we have returned to Face-to-face learning with comprehensive health and safety measures in place to keep our students & community safe. We provide an option for distance learning which has been awarded the highest rating from ADEK. 

Our Admissions are Open from Nursery/FS1 to Year 13, for Academic Year 2023-24.

School Tours are available (Virtual & Walk-In) and take place Monday to Friday after school hours. We also offer weekend school tours upon request.  

 

REGISTRATION PROCESS

The registrations for the academic year 2023-24 are open. During this period, the admission process will be done remotely. Please find below the process for your quick and ready reference.

  1. Online Registration 

    • Parents applying for admissions are required to register online.Click here for online registration.

    • The pre-admission login details will be sent to the registered mobile number only for shortlisted students. 

    • All required information and documents must be updated online. 

  2. Online Assessments 
    With the closure of schools due to COVID-19, we will not be conducting the written assessments. Instead, the students will be shortlisted based on their performance in the current school and if required, the Heads of the Departments will have an online interview/assessment with the student. 

  3. Acceptance & Admissions 
    If your child is accepted into the school, you will receive an offer for a place from the Admissions Team. You must respond within 7 days to secure the place.  

  4. Submission of required documentation 
    Parents are required to submit all the required documentation online. Admission is confirmed only on payment of the school fees. 

  5. Fees 
    Upon confirmation, a Registration fee amounting to 5% of the school fees will be charged (non-refundable). You will also be required to pay the school fees via an online bank transfer and issue post-dated cheques once school resumes. DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED

We require the following documents to be submitted at the time of registration:

  1. Passport copy of the student with valid residence visa page (2 copies)
  2. Birth certificate copy of the student (2 copies)
  3. Copy of the Emirates ID of the student (2 copies)
  4. 5 recent passport size photographs of the child with a white background in an envelope
  5. Both the Parents passport copies with valid residence visa page
  6. Both the Parents Emirates ID copy
  7. Copy of the Immunisation record
  8. Transfer Certificate from the last school with the required attestation (Students from other Emirates and outside the UAE)
  9. Academic progress report from the last school where applicable

ATTESTATION DETAILS

In case of transfer from other Emirates:  

The transfer certificate should be duly attested by

  • The Education zone

In case of transfer from Overseas: 

The transfer certificate should be duly attested by

  • Ministry of Education
  • Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country from which migrating
  • UAE Embassy in the country from which migrating

Please note that attestation is not required for UK, US, Canada, Australia and Europe.
